We only handle information that helps Norayn work for you and your partner:

1.1 Personal Information: When you create an account or contact us, you may provide information such as your name and email address. In the app, you may also choose to add a profile photo, relationship stage, optional milestone dates (such as nikah or anniversary dates), and notification preferences. We use this solely to operate your account and the features you use.

1.2 Usage Information: To keep the app reliable and secure, basic technical information may be processed automatically (such as device type, operating system, app version, and general diagnostic logs). On our website, standard server logs (such as IP address and pages visited) may be recorded. We do not use this to build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or websites.

1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies: Our website may use cookies to remember basic preferences and keep the site working. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising.

1.4 Couple and Shared Content: Norayn is designed for couples. When you pair with a partner, the answers, messages, game activity, and other content you choose to share through couple features are stored so you and your partner can use the app together. This content is visible only to your paired partner while you remain linked — not to other Norayn users or the public. If you add photos, drawings, journal notes, or widget data, we store what you submit so those features work for you.

1.5 Location Data: If you turn on location-based features (such as the distance widget), Norayn uses approximate location only to show distance between you and your partner. We do not use your location for advertising or unrelated purposes. You can turn off location permissions at any time in your device settings.

1.6 Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, a device token is stored so we can deliver the reminders you opt into (such as your turn, daily conversation prompts, streak reminders, and partner nudges). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

1.7 Sign in with Apple or Google: If you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive only the account details needed to sign you in (such as your name and email address), in line with the provider's policies and your settings. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

1.8 Payment Information: Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment card details. We receive only what is needed to unlock premium features (such as whether a subscription is active). While paired, a paying subscriber may share premium access with their linked partner as described in our Terms of Service.

1.9 Sensitive Information: We do not ask for sensitive categories of personal data (such as government IDs or medical records). Some prompts may invite personal reflections — what you share is entirely your choice.

We use information only to run and improve Norayn:

2.1 Providing Services: To create and maintain your account, link you with your partner, deliver quizzes, games, widgets, notifications, and support when you contact us.

2.2 Personalization: To show you relevant packs, games, and content within the app based on preferences you set (such as relationship stage). We do not display targeted advertisements and we do not use your couple conversations for marketing.

2.3 Improvements: To fix bugs, keep the app secure, and improve features you already use. We do not build behavioural advertising profiles from your activity.

2.4 Communication: To send service-related messages (such as account confirmations or security notices). Optional product updates can be turned off. Even if you opt out of optional messages, we may still send messages necessary to operate your account.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your couple content with advertisers, data brokers, or other Norayn users. Content you submit through couple features is visible to your linked partner by design — no one else in the app can see it.

Your information may be handled only in these limited circumstances:

3.1 Service Providers: We use infrastructure partners (such as hosting, authentication, and subscription tools) that process data strictly on our instructions to operate the app — for example, to store your account securely or deliver a push notification you requested. They may not use your information for their own purposes.

3.2 Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or governmental requests. We will also enforce our Terms of Service and protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property and that of our users.

3.3 Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity or third parties involved in the transaction. We will notify you via email or prominent notice on our website if such a transfer occurs.

3.4 International Transfers: We may process and store information in the United Kingdom, the United States, and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.
